Job Title: Support Worker Location: Ipswich Salary: £11.44 - £12.60 per hour Job Type: Flexible shifts Our clients are a dedicated organization committed to supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. Key Responsibilities: * Person-Centered Support: Provide individualized support by listening to, discussing, and planning everyone’s goals and ambitions. * Community Engagement: Assist individuals in participating in community activities, such as attending educational programs, engaging in social events, and accessing vocational opportunities. * Daily Living Assistance: Support individuals with daily tasks, including personal care, meal planning, cooking, and medication management. * Skill Development: Encourage and empower individuals to develop personal and practical skills, promoting independence in their everyday lives. * Emotional Support: Offer emotional support to help individuals manage challenges and enhance their well-being. Requirements: * Full, valid driver’s license and comfort with transporting residents. * Previous experience in a care setting * Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. * Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
